I don't grade on a curve because I believe every student should be able to earn an "A" regardless of how well their classmates do.

Attendance

Computers is the type of course that is very demanding of class time.  All students should make every effort to be in class each day.  On your return to school, following an excused absence, it is your responsibility to make up your assignments.  All make up work should be made up within 1 week after an excused absence.  For more information on make up work read the student handbook.  If an assignment or test is not made up, a zero will be entered in the grade book.

Class rules

1.                  Be prompt

2.                  Be polite, raise your hand when you have a question, do not talk while teacher or another student is talking.  The words “please” and “thank you”  go along way to attaining what you need.

3.                  Sit in your assigned seat.

4.                  Be prepared.  Bring the appropriate materials to class, take notes and review those notes before taking the module tests.

5.                  Be productive.  Take advantage of class time to work on the computer

6.                  No food, drink, candy or gum is permitted in the computer lab.

7.                  Please do not bring backpacks, coats, clothing that you are not wearing during my class, or book bags into the classroom – these items should be stored in your lockers during the school day.

8.                  Students are expected to do their own work. Any student who turns in the work of another student as their own will recieve a "0" for that assignment. In addition all other assignments from the current report period will be evaluated for possible fraud and a "0" will also be given for all assignments that are in question. The individual who provided the work will recieve the same treatment as the student who turned in the assignment. Students are encouraged to change their passwords should there be the possibility that their account has been compromised. Repeat offenders may be failed for the entire report period.
