Foster Elementary Art Room Update Website.

This website was designed to keep you up to date on all the exciting events in the Foster art room. Students in grades one through five had art once a week for forty five minutes in the art room. Since I am now retired it will be up to the new art teacher to post her schedule. The following is the schedule from my last year of teaching (2010-2011):

Please provide your child with a "smock" to protect their clothes. Also, please remind them to wear old clothes and shoes on art day so they don't have to spend the whole period worrying about getting dirty! If your child needed extra time to work on a project, they could have come in after school  Mondays and before school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Good questions to ask your child when they bring home an art project:

How did you do that?
Can you tell me about it?
Where did you begin?
Where did you ever get the idea?
What was your favorite part?
Have you ever done anything like this before?
If you gave it a title, what would you call it?
